ArtGun

Order Desk can submit your print on demand orders to  ArtGun. Order Desk can also listen for the shipment notice back from ArtGun.

Setup and Configuration

On the ArtGun setup page, enter your provided API Key and API Secret. Once connected, you'll want to enter your return address details and set the default shipping carrier and method that you've been given by ArtGun.

If you'll be sending the Company Logo as well as Pack Logo 1 and Pack Logo 2 to ArtGun, you can set defaults on this page. These can also be overridden on a per-order basis.

Sending Custom Order Data To ArtGun

If you'd like to send custom data about the order to ArtGun, you can set the following checkout data fields:

PackingSlip Set the packing slip url ( how to create a pdf packing slip automatically)
CompanyLogo Pass a png file to be used in the packing slip (if not passing the actual packing slip)
PackLogoURL1 Pass a png file to be used in the packing slip (if not passing the actual packing slip)
PackLogoURL2 Pass a png file to be used in the packing slip (if not passing the actual packing slip)
ShippingCarrier Enter the shipping carrier you'd like to use for this order. If not provided, the default will be used
ShippingPriority Enter the shipping priority code you'd like to use for this order.If not provided, the default will be used
ShippingAccount Enter the shipping account number you'd like to use for this order. If not provided, the default will be used

Sending Custom Item Data To ArtGun

Please see the On-Demand Print Fulfillment Instructions for details on how to configure your items. ArtGun requires some extra details about your items, so please read the following details carefully when setting up your products. These fields can be set in the item variation or metadata. You'll have the best success by setting these details in the inventory item setup for each SKU.

The x values are for multiple sets of values. For example, if you are printing a single print with a necklabel you'd setup the following fields: print_sku, necklabel_binid, print_type_1, print_location_1, print_url_1, print_preview_1, print_thumbnail_1, print_type_2, print_preview_2, and print_thumbnail_2. 

Field Name Field Description
print_sku Internal ArtGun product SKU
necklabel_binid The ArtGun-provided unique identifier for your neck label. If not printing neck label, do not worry about setting this value.
hangtag_binid The ArtGun-provided unique identifier for your hang tag. If not printing hang tags, do not worry about setting this value.
print_type_ x DigitalPrint, HeatTransfer, HangTag, or Sticker. If nothing entered, DigitalPrint will be assumed.
print_location_ x For DigitalPrint, enter one of these location codes CF (front), FB (back), LS (left sleeve), RS (right sleeve), or LC (left chest print). For the sleeve prints or left chest, the max image size should be 4"x4" tightly cropped. ArtGun does require locations for the other print types, but we'll enter them automatically for you. If you are using DigitalPrint and you leave this blank, we will select CF for you.
print_url_ x The publicly available URL from which your artwork can be downloaded. Only used for DigitalPrint.
print_preview_ x The publicly available URL from which the preview of your finished product can be downloaded. The field "image" will be used if nothing is entered. This is a required field for all print types. This image can be PNG or JPG and must be at least 1000x1000.
print_thumbnail_ x The publicly available URL from which the thumbnail of your finished product can be downloaded. This is a required field for all print types. This image can be PNG or JPG and must be at least 300x300.
print_width_ x Only for DigitalPrint. Width (in inches) that should be used for the physical printed design; your digital image file will be scaled down to this width when printed. Optional.
print_height_ x Only for DigitalPrint. Height (in inches) that should be used for the physical printed design; your digital image file will be scaled down to this width when printed. Optional.
sticker_binid_ x The ArtGun-provided unique identifier for your sticker tag. If not printing stickers do not worry about setting this value.
