How to Use Custom Buttons

You can make your own custom buttons in Order Desk that, when clicked for an order or group of orders, will take the specific actions that you want to happen for those orders.
To create custom buttons, you will first need to understand how the rule builder works. If necessary, take a few minutes to read through this guide that covers some rule builder basics.
To create a custom button, go into the rule builder and click on Create Custom Button.
Name the button and click Create Button.
The button will now appear in your folder view:
and on the order details page:
If you click it, nothing will happen yet. Next, you'll need to create a rule to tell Order Desk what you want this button to do.
Back in the rule builder, add a new rule by searching for your button and clicking Continue.
Set up any conditions, if necessary, and choose the action(s) you want to have happen to an order when the button is clicked.
Save the rule. Now, when you click that button for specific orders, the actions you set in the rule will apply to them.
If you need to delete a custom button, on the rule builder page, click on the Create Custom Button link to see a list of your buttons.
Click the x next to any button you want to delete.
